Cystex Better Bladder Challenge

Two-thirds of women will experience a urinary tract infection {UTI}...of those, 40% will experience another, with many experiencing what is known as recurring UTI's {3 or more infections per year}

The Cystex Better Bladder Challenge is a non-scientific challenge using Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox. The challenge will follow a select group of “recurrent” UTI sufferers {those who have experienced three or more UTIs in the past 12 months}, who will take part in this project from May 1 to July 31, 2011, with the goal of achieving better urinary health. Participants will report on their progress on the Cystex Ladies Room blog and Facebook page via written word and/or video {Flip cams and three-months worth of Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex will be provided to all participants}.

Chloraseptic to the Rescue: Review & Giveaway

Ocean Saline Nasal Products: Review & Giveaway

Ocean Saline Nasal products offer non-medicated saline based products to help with a whole array of common nasal ailments.  The line is geared towards the whole family and is highly recommended by doctors and pharmacists. 

I moved to the continental U.S. back in  summer and it seemed like my days of nasal congestion problems were over...boy, was I wrong!   The combination of the outside cold with the heat from inside the apartment has not been kind to my nasal sinuses and passages.

OCEAN® Premium Saline Nasal Spray

This is a good product for whenever I get cold & flu symptoms, which happens to be more often then I would like.  It helps me get rid of my nasal congestion, which ultimately allows me to function better.  I just twist off the cap, tilt my head back and squeeze a couple of drops in and little by little it starts to work. 

My husband, on the other hand prefers this for moisturizing his nasal passages on a regular basis.

OCEAN Complete® Sinus Irrigation

Now that the temperature is cold and the heater is on this has really come in extremely handy. 

It comes with two {2} nozzles, a white one and an orange one. The orange nozzle helps irrigate and liquefy mucus, thus clearing nasal passages.  The white nozzle gives out a moisturizing saline to help against the dry climate.

I like both nozzles, but find myself using the white nozzle for moisturizing purposes and my husband likes the orange nozzle because it helps clear out his nose.

Always makes sure to rinse after each use.

OCEAN for Kids®

We haven't been able to try this out as my 22 month old will not allow for dear life, although he could benefit from it.  But seeing how well the other two {2} products have worked for us we don't see why we shouldn't trust the kids version.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our Ocean Saline Nasal Products!  The product really does do what it advertises and because the products are non-medicated you know that you won't get a nasty aftertaste in case the saline happens to go down your throat by way of your nose {it happens}

Boogie Wipes: Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

I have an 18 month old boy and he seldom gets sicks, but when he does it hits him hard.  Just this last week, baby E got a cold.  Of course, he got the usual symptoms...sneezing, coughing and a runny nose.  Thank goodness he didn't get a fever!  I didn't take him to the doctor, but I did recur to giving him lots of fluids, fruit and lots of Boogie Wipes.
