Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms Giveaway {ENDS 06-10}CLOSED

This Chicken Soup for the Soul book is definitely something that all moms should read, regardless if you are a new mom or already have several kids.  While I was pregnant with my son one of my friend's got me a similar version of Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms and I just loved it.  This new version was none the different; I was really into it.  All the stories are relatable because let's face it all moms go through similar situations when dealing with a baby for the first time.

Becoming a new mom is the most amazing event. This book celebrates the physical, emotional, and spiritual experience of having a child and creating a family. New and expectant moms will delight in these heartwarming, insightful, and humorous stories about raising babies and toddlers. This book is full of stories by other moms sharing the wonders of early motherhood, from waiting for the baby, whether through pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy, to those early weeks and first few years, and everything in between!

Book Worm Labels Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

My toddler loves his books and I love to label his things, so it's a good thing that the great people over at Lovable Labels have come out with their new Book Worm Labels.

The labels are available in five different designs, for both boys and girls.  I chose the Fast Eddy design because my son is partial to cars. The colors are of the highest quality and the material of the label doesn't seem like it will fade away.

This is a fun way to personalize your kid's books. In my case, my son doesn't go to school but does go to playdates and sometimes likes to bring a book or two along.  This way there won't ever be a mistake as to who each book belongs too.  Plus these labels just make the covers look even cuter.

Although Lovable Labels is a Canadian company they do ship to the United States. Every time they have contacted me to do a review the shipments have always arrived in a speedy manner.

Label Info:
36 Book Worm Labels for only $14.95
Dimensions: 5.08cm x 5.08cm (2" x 2")

Traveler MUST HAVE: EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale

My family and I travel by plane at least twice a year. It so happens that I always overpack and when we go to check in the luggage it turns out that at least one of the suitcases is over the weight limit. Of course, being that we do not want to pay the extra fee we always end up throwing stuff from one suitcase to the other right there at the airport.  The truth is that it is a bit embarrasing.

Lucky us that I had recieved the EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale.

This has got to be one of the best gadgets I have ever gotten my hands on.  This baby was extremely user friendly.

Several days ago{on Saturday} my husband and I left for a European trip.  This blue suitcase was the one I had packed with bth of our clothes and was meant to be checked in.

As always, I ended up stuffing the suitcase as if I were going to be away for four weeks instead of two.  This bag could only weigh a max of 50 lbs. in order to not have to pay anything for it.

Obviously, I put  my new EatSmart Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale to the test.  It was easy and quick to use.  All I had to do was press the 2 side buttons on the clip in order to open it. Afterward,  I secured the strap around the suitcase handle and locked it in place.
It comes with an ON/OFF button. The scale already comes with a battery, but make sure to pull out the little plastic tab that comes in the battery section because at first I thought that the scale was damaged and it wasn't.

I asked my always trusted helper to lift the suitcase and it turned out that the suitcase weighed almost 60 pounds.  The scale was very speedy about calculating the weight. {I think I deleted the pic that showed the number, SORRY}

Then we decided to just take a second suitcase to check in because we could each have one and it would be free if they didn't exceed 50 lbs.  We just reorganized everything and...

the numbers speak for themthelves...

embarrassing moment at the airport averted and lots of money saved!

And then we made sure to throw the scale into one of the suitcases to make sure everything goes well when we fly back.

This is definitely something that every traveler should have, especially if you travel with a brood or like me like to over pack.

BUY IT!

Soy Massage Candle: Review

Pheromone Sow Massage Candle

Disclosure: I received the featured product free of charge for review purposes.

I happen to adore candles because of the warm scent they can add to any space.  When I was contacted by Eden Fantasys to review a product I was ecstatic to found out about the great array of candles that they offer.

I chose this yummy smelling Wish Pheromone Soy Massage Candle. The best attribute of this candle is that you share it with your partner or spouse.  It's great to burn after a long day at work where all you want to do is share some down time with your sweetie by relaxing and giving eachother soothing, warm massages.

All you do is burn the candle for a little while so the room can soak in the exquisite smell of vanilla sugar.  Afterward, blow out the flame and it'll have transformed into a romantic massage oil.

I simply love this product!

New Oral Hygiene Fave

  As much as I love to try out new products, toothpaste is one of those things that I don't change around.  I was a bit reluctant to try out this product but as it turns out I really enjoy using it.  I've been brushing my teeth with this toothpaste {spearmint variety} for several weeks now and I love it.  Unlike other toothpastes, this one is not overtly sweet and you can savor the spearmint flavor. Of course, Tom's of Maine toothpaste has all of the benefits of any other toothpaste you know  {fights plaque and tartar build-up, helps whiten teeth and helps with fresh breath}.   What sets this particular toothpaste apart from others is that it is a more natural option when it comes to overall oral hygiene.  I definitely think that I am sticking to Tom's of Maine toothpaste and leaving my old brand behind.

Lovable Labels Winner

Sorry, it's taken me so long to post the winner of the Lovable Labels: Return Address Labels! I posted the other day on Facebook that my computer screen had died the other day. We have no idea what's wrong with it; so we took my husbands' other computer to get it fixed because it was still under warranty and mine isn't.

Without further ado, the winner of the Lovable Labels Return Address Labels is:
