Halloween: Bob the Builder

My son is a huge Bob the Builder fan; a bit obsessive to a certain point.  Of course, this Halloween we had to dress him up as his favorite character.

On Thursday I took him to a party over at my husband's business school.  Today we went out to the central grounds of where my husband goes to school where all the town was gathered to do some trick or treating.

Review & Giveaway : The Most Awesome Tights (Preggers by Therafirm)

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

I love to wear tights! Now that the temperatures are cooling down it gives me the excuse to wear them in all different textures and colors whenever I feel like it.  So, I was very happy to get the opportunity to to try out and review a pair of black tights from Preggers by Therafirm.

Don't let the name fool you. These ultra comfortable and luxurious looking tights are not exclusively for pregnant women.  Any women can wear them!  Not only are these tights good looking and comfortable to wear they are actually good for your legs!  These fabulous tights help improve circulation, prevent swelling and energize tired legs and feet.  These tights are ideal for fashionable soon-to-be mommies,  mommies on the go, teachers or any other kind of fabulous woman who is constantly on her feet, but wants to look her best.
These tights are of the highest quality material that I have seen in the market and they are durable.  I have worn mine three (3) times already and they are in perfectly excellent conditions.  I love the way they look and the best thing of all is how my legs feel after the end of the day.  Usually after a long day of running up and down town all day my legs beg to be lifted up on the bed or given a massage.  But when I've worn these tights my legs feel fantastic.  I just wish I had known about these tights when I was pregnant and teaching back in 2008-2009.  My legs and feet were swollen by November 2008 all the way up until my son was born in March 2009.
The tights come in this cute box and the company was really speedy about the shipping process.  Preggers by Therafirm also has other cool products in stock.  All of which I wouldn't mind owning.

Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant 11/11

Review & Giveaway: Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant

I for one, hate feeling wet in my armpits after being out and about running daily errands.  Although it's not drastic, it is a very uncomfortable sensation because I'm never 100% sure if the sweat has stained my blouse. So, I was excited to try out Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant. I had seen this product, along with its sister products, in Rite-Aid and being advertised on You Tube. The good thing about his product is that it is meant for both women and men!
I have been using this product for several weeks now and I have noticed an overall improvement in terms of my perspiration issues.  It doesn't matter how long I'm out on the street or in the gym, I simply don't get the wet sensation underneath my armpits anymore!.  It feels so great to be able to wear whatever color blouse I want without having to worry about embarrassing sweat stains.  I've even noticed that I don't have to wear as much of my deodorant as I used to, so that's an added plus.

Basically, what I've been doing is applying just a bit of product on my armpits at night before going to bed.  In the morning I just put on a bit of deodorant,  for odor reasons, and I am good to go.

Product Description:
  • Certain Dri is for excessive perspiration as well as occasional perspiration caused from stress, heat, sports, work, etc.. The Certain Dri line not only contains this Solid Anti-Perspirant but also had a Roll-on as well as an A.M. Underarm Refresher.
  • Certain Dri has been the leading, dermatologist-recommended product for controlling excessive underarm perspiration for more than three decades.  While other products claim to be “clinical strength".  Approximately seven million adults and teens are clinically diagnosed with axillary hyperhidrosis  (excessive underarm perspiration)  more than 40 million more believed their perspiration to be a problem.
  • Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant was created specifically to complete the line of Certain Dri antiperspirant products for those who want the same 72-hour protection from excessive underarm perspiration in a solid application. Certain Dri is equally effective and specially formulated for those with sensitive skin providing, all day dryness from excessive underarm perspiration.

The Certain Dri product line consists of:
  • Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant Roll-on
  • Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant
  • Certain Dri A.M. Underarm Refresher Roll-On
  • Certain Dri A.M. Underarm Refresher Solid
Where can you buy these products:
  • Certain Dri products are available in mass market retail, supermarkets and drug stores all over the country, as well as via online retailers and at www.certaindri.com, for an average retail price of about $5.99.  It's cheaper than "clinical strength" anti-perspirants!
Check out Certain Dry on Facebook:

Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant has recently started a new weekly giveaway on the Certain Dri Facebook page. Every Friday, one winner will receive the Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant of their choice (Roll-On or Solid) and a $100 gift card to Simon Malls (can be used at any mall location nationwide). Review: Oliver's Labels

I was so excited to get the chance to review Oliver's labels.

Oliver's Labels makes high quality, waterproof labels and tags to stick on all your kids' stuff. Our labels are dishwasher & laundry safe and will never fade, scuff or peel.

Here is the sample package that I received with my son's name.  Oliver's Labels has a wide selection of the cutest prints and designs, both for boys and girls.

Oliver's Labels has everything for your family's labeling needs.

Just last week I started at the gym. So, while I work out baby E hangs out at the gym's day care center.  While at the center the kids can have snacks, but all of their belongings must be labeled.
The mini label was ideal to put on E's sippy cups.  Water and dishwashing liquid have not deteriorated them.  Everyone who has seen the labels has asked me about them!  The next set of labels I'm planning on using are the clothes and shoes  labels.  I'm going to put them in the jackets that I just bought for my son.  This way, whenever he goes to the daycare center or to his Little Gym classes there won't ever be a mix up as to who's jackets or shoes are those.
These labels are great!  They are ideal if you have kids in daycare, preschool or lower elementary school levels.

Plus, if your child constantly loses their belongings there is a way to find them.
    How is that possible?
Found-it™ is Oliver's Labels exclusive, FREE online Lost-and-Found system.
    How does it work?
Oliver's Labels gives you the option of printing a Found-it™ tracking system code on your labels.  This unique code connects you to your item via your email address.

If you're interested in knowing more about these amazing and cute personalized labels check out the website at http://www.oliverslabels.com/

    Old Navy for Toddlers

My mother-in-law gave me a gift certificate so I could pick up some fall/winter clothing for the family.  I didn't get that much for my husband and I.  Which means that baby E got a big loot.  I got the pictures directly from the Old Navy site because I don't like how my clothing pics turn out.

Here are the things I got for my toddler:

I also got baby E a black beanie to match this scarf.
