New Oral Hygiene Fave

As much as I love to try out new products, toothpaste is one of those things that I don't change around.  I was a bit reluctant to try out this product but as it turns out I really enjoy using it.  I've been brushing my teeth with this toothpaste {spearmint variety} for several weeks now and I love it.  Unlike other toothpastes, this one is not overtly sweet and you can savor the spearmint flavor. Of course, Tom's of Maine toothpaste has all of the benefits of any other toothpaste you know  {fights plaque and tartar build-up, helps whiten teeth and helps with fresh breath}.   What sets this particular toothpaste apart from others is that it is a more natural option when it comes to overall oral hygiene.  I definitely think that I am sticking to Tom's of Maine toothpaste and leaving my old brand behind.

BUY IT!

Review & Giveaway: Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant

I for one, hate feeling wet in my armpits after being out and about running daily errands.  Although it's not drastic, it is a very uncomfortable sensation because I'm never 100% sure if the sweat has stained my blouse. So, I was excited to try out Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant. I had seen this product, along with its sister products, in Rite-Aid and being advertised on You Tube. The good thing about his product is that it is meant for both women and men!
I have been using this product for several weeks now and I have noticed an overall improvement in terms of my perspiration issues.  It doesn't matter how long I'm out on the street or in the gym, I simply don't get the wet sensation underneath my armpits anymore!.  It feels so great to be able to wear whatever color blouse I want without having to worry about embarrassing sweat stains.  I've even noticed that I don't have to wear as much of my deodorant as I used to, so that's an added plus.

Basically, what I've been doing is applying just a bit of product on my armpits at night before going to bed.  In the morning I just put on a bit of deodorant,  for odor reasons, and I am good to go.

Product Description:
  • Certain Dri is for excessive perspiration as well as occasional perspiration caused from stress, heat, sports, work, etc.. The Certain Dri line not only contains this Solid Anti-Perspirant but also had a Roll-on as well as an A.M. Underarm Refresher.
  • Certain Dri has been the leading, dermatologist-recommended product for controlling excessive underarm perspiration for more than three decades.  While other products claim to be “clinical strength".  Approximately seven million adults and teens are clinically diagnosed with axillary hyperhidrosis  (excessive underarm perspiration)  more than 40 million more believed their perspiration to be a problem.
  • Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant was created specifically to complete the line of Certain Dri antiperspirant products for those who want the same 72-hour protection from excessive underarm perspiration in a solid application. Certain Dri is equally effective and specially formulated for those with sensitive skin providing, all day dryness from excessive underarm perspiration.

The Certain Dri product line consists of:
  • Certain Dri Anti-Perspirant Roll-on
  • Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant
  • Certain Dri A.M. Underarm Refresher Roll-On
  • Certain Dri A.M. Underarm Refresher Solid
Where can you buy these products:
  • Certain Dri products are available in mass market retail, supermarkets and drug stores all over the country, as well as via online retailers and at www.certaindri.com, for an average retail price of about $5.99.  It's cheaper than "clinical strength" anti-perspirants!

A New and Improved way to Keep Your Teeth Clean: BrytonPick

I am sort of obsessed when it comes to my oral health, so I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to review the Bryton Pick!

    http://www.brytonpick.com
The Bryton Pick is what you would take with you if you are going out to eat, but don't want to carry around regular, old dental floss or string pick floss.  I found it simple to use!  All you do is  hold the pick by the middle and then you glide it through the space in between your teeth.  It glides easily between the teeth, although it was a bit difficult to get it through the molars at first.   The edges of the pick are round and blunt, so it's safe to use!

I like the design because it looks like a slim, mini-boomerang.  It's made up of two(2) germ resistant, thin and flexible stainless steel edges that are connected by a colored plastic.  Each BrytonPick comes with a plastic pouch so you can take it with you at all times.  The pick and pouch are so slim that you can carry it in your wallet.  That's where my husband and I keep our Bryton picks so we can clean up even when we are on the go.  Each pick can be used up to 30 times!  Just make sure to rinse or wipe with an alcohol pad after each use and no sharing please :-)

Click here if you want to find out more about the BrytonPick!
