Creative Profesional Hair Tools

offers a wide range of hair styling tools for professional and every day use.

I received this beautiful handmade tortoise comb.  I love things that are handcrafted because it makes me feel special to be able to own a piece that was crafted by someone else as opposed to a piece that was assembled by a machine.  I like using this comb when I wake up in the morning to help me get rid of any hair knots that may have formed during my night-time sleep.  I also use it before going to bed as a part of my going to bed beauty routine.  Another person that uses this comb is my son.  I use it on his hair, whenever he is in the mood, because as a toddler he still has soft, delicate hair but baby brushes don't help anymore and "adult" brushes are to harsh.  The best thing about this comb is that I don't have to worry about it breaking my hair or causing split ends because of the way it was made.

Product Information (taken from the site)
Each of our handmade combs is sawed from a single sheet of high quality Italian produced cellulose acetate, with teeth gently rounded. There are no burrs to catch and break hair, causing split ends. Ordinary combs are molded from inferior plastic and have burrs and jagged seams between the teeth that break and damage hair, making it dull and lifeless.

  4. I definitely need something like this. My hair is extremely fragile because I color it and if this comb doesn't destroy my hair - then I am all for it!

  8. Ugh I can completely feel terribly toothed combs in my hair, pulling and tearing as I think about other combs! Hand crafted is the way to go. Thanks for sharing!
