Einstein Discovery Kits Help Parents Introduce Babies To The Beautiful Worlds of Classical Music, Nature & The Arts Through Integrated Multimedia Kits
My husband and I have always been in favor of exposing our son to music and books. We started doing it when he was in the womb and continue to do it by exposing him to other things as well- art, museums, exploration & interaction with other children.I like the fact that there are companies out there like Baby Einstein, that specialize in providing parents, both new and experienced, with products that help nurture a child's intellectual development.
Baby Einstein already has a variety of products out in the market. One of them being the Baby Einstein Discover Kits and now they recently added 3 new editions – Baby Lullaby, Neptune’s Oceans & World of Rhythm. Baby Einstein Discovery Kits, are specifically designed for babies up to two-years of age, and they help parents introduce babies to the world of classical music, nature and the arts through integrated multimedia kits. Each Baby Einstein Discovery Kit includes a Baby Einstein DVD, a music CD and either a book or Discovery Cards.
I received a Baby Lullaby Discover Kit {Level 1: Experience}. The DVD presented beautiful images of waves, puppets and other slow paced images accompanied by soothing classical background music. The CD had beautiful, calming classical music, which I like to play in the car because it helps us all calm down and enjoy the drive. The mini book, which my son enjoyed the most, presented a toy image in one page and on the next page the "real world" image. My son would either tell me the images that he recognized or he would ask me: " what this?" -he just turned 2. All in all my son enjoyed the kit, although the DVD was too slow paced for him and he would watch it for short intervals of time, leave and then come back. The DVD would be ideal to play either early in the morning when your kids still haven't revved up their engines or in the evenings to get them to calm down. These kits aren't just entertaining, but kids learn as well!

I would love to have something like this. My daughter responds to music and likes to look at the tv when there's cartoons on! (She's only 5 months so not real interested in tv yet)
