As, I had mentioned in a previous post, I'm new at the whole baking thing so I thought I'd take things slowly until I feel comfortable enough to bake from scratch.
For the time being, I always use store bought muffin mix. This time around, instead of following the original recipe, I decided to make the healthier version-which can be found on the side of the box. This was my first time using this mix, in particular, so I can't really compare the flavor and texture of these much healthier ones versus the originals. But, I can say that the end result was simply scrumptious, delicious, sweet yumminess! Muffins aren't really good for your health, so at least I can try and cut out some of the ingredients that makes them so deliciously bad for you. Right????
I decreased the amount of water/substituted oil for applesauce/used 1 egg instead of 2 |
After having let the muffins cool on the rack I put them in a plastic container as to save them for the rest of the week. Wonder how long they really will last? hmmmm... In addition: I recently received my first blog award from Mimi. Thank you so much! I pass this award to the following : Fintia Elaine Marie | |
