Country Strong

Last night was the Country Music Awards (CMA) 2010. During the awards, Gwyneth Paltrow debuted the title track song from her upcoming movie "Country Strong". I was surprised by her performance because I had no idea she could sing or play the guitar.  She was such a natural at it, you'd think she'd been doing it professionally for years.

What do you think of her performance?

  5. I was so impressed, so surreal! I wonder if she is doing this just for this movie or if she is thinking to keep singing

  6. Fashion Meets Food==> So was I! :-)

    Marie==> I agree :-)

    Cindy==> I've only seen Blythe Danner in the Meet the Fockers movies and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and she was great. If Gwyneth did get a record deal, I'd listen to her music.

    Sue==> She said in a press conference that she has developed a love for country, but that only time would tell if she is going to become a singer.

  7. Did you see her on Glee last night? What can't she do? She's a natural and I liked her song. (and I'm not a big country fan either!

  8. I love that she can step out of the box, strum the guitar and sing, just for a movie. Not bad at all. I love her as an actress

  10. You know that I didn't even know that she was in a movie until I saw her on the movie ad. The first thing that came to my mind was " what is this movie" I went home browsed online and saw the video and I immediately loved. I am a big fan of country music and she did an amazing job singing on stage. Thanks for sharing.
